I just survived doing quick changes for a local musical here, so I am really tired, but functioning.

Elephant in the Venue / Mouthguard Show

Beyond all doubt record release show with Watch you Fall, Bare Minimum, Maldita Gente, Anvil chandelier, Winters Farewell

Where: 2210 S Sixth Ave

Genre: Hardcore

Price: $12 adv | $15 doors

Why go? Oh come on. A good mix of some arizona hardcore with some friends from other states. It stands as the only one this week where I feel your teeth would get rocked ( hence the mouthguard show category).

Breakout Show

E.T., Iris Ishani, Sleep of Eons, Ellis Dealer

When: Tuesday, June 3rd, 7:00 PM

Where: Groundworks

Genre: Industrial, Electronic

Why go? Whilst E.T is not a local, these musicians are some that i never have seen on stage for their genre. It’s the exciting, emo, and full electronic experience I wish I got to be prideful in high school.

Chill Show

Mattstagraham at Zia records

When: Wednesday, June 4th, 4:00 PM

Where: Zia Records

Genre:Punk, Comedy

Price: Free!

Why go? Mattstagraham is the only local Tucson musician that my coworker knows of. He is viral, a tik tok star yes, but to put on a free show and have a free signing for his home town. You don’t see Addison Rae doing that. I’ve also met Matt personally and he is pretty down to earth and a HUGE supporter of the scene here. Go meet him, go hear him, realize how cool he is and that we can proudly say he’s from here.

Dancing Guaranteed

Lizzie, Alec Andre, Phoenix.awakened

Where: Wooden Tooth Records

Genre:Indie, Rock

Price: $10

Why go? Lizzie found all of the masters of their craft and put them into a show. Highly talented musicans in writing and in performance come together in a night that I believe is a good look at the mastery of getting the crowd going and showcasing feeling in performance.

Chill show part two / Kat’s gotta gig Show
